Maureen Mckovich, GML
Founder & Vice President
In 1992, with more than two decades in mortgage banking and insurance, Maureen saw the clear need to establish a more educated workforce in mortgage lending as well as informed consumers of mortgage products. To further these goals, Maureen founded the 501 (c) 3 corporation now known as the Mortgage Industry Foundation.
Maureen continued in the industry as co-owner of Mount Vernon Mortgage until her retirement in 2000. She has remained active both as an emeritus and again as an active member of the Foundation Board. Her recognized contributions to education within the industry have always stemmed from the simple belief that any chain is only so strong as its weakest link. Thus, much of her effort has focused on empowering educational opportunities from the lower rungs of the corporate ladder to the top.
Maureen is honored to contribute now to the new direction the Foundation has taken.

Tracy Sanderson, MML, CME, CMI
Tracy started her career while a senior in high school, as a courier for a title company. She moved on to mortgage banking in 1984, where she held positions as Loan Officer, Processor and Underwriter before moving into management. Tracy is currently Branch Operations Manager for Guild Mortgage in Vancouver, Washington. Her passion is training, with an emphasis on Compliance and Fair Lending. With the implementation of TRID, she became an industry expert in preparing disclosures for Construction-Perm loans and likes to keep a finger on the pulse on all things related to TRID and regulatory compliance in general.
Opportunities for a formal post-secondary education were lacking in Tracy's early days in the industry. She joined NAPMW in 2004 and in February of 2007, obtained her first designation through the Institute of Mortgage Lending (IML). She is very proud of the fact that she was the first NAPMW member to obtain all of the educational designations offered through the IML.
Tracy was the recipient of a Foundation grant in 2007 to help cover the cost of obtaining her Certified Mortgage Instructor designation. She takes pride in giving back; both to the Foundation and those new to the industry.
